Wedding Preparation (Into Marriage)

These are some of pics I taken during our (me & my girlfriend) recent vacation (5 days!) to Miri.

Shoot! Am I looking for a wedding dress already?

... and another wedding dress

and another...

Then she decided to look for 'some' gothic-lolita dress. Don't know why but recently she have grown a high interest in gothic-lolita image.

First, she buy this! (RM299/- plus 10% discount)

And then this! (RM299/- also plus 10% discount)

Finally, a snap in front of the store right before we leave.

Thank goth she pay it all by herself using her father's credit card. I don't have that much money to buy all that lorr. Even the trip was sponsored by her father after he find out that I once promised to visit Miri with her (which is supposed to be done during Merdeka celebration last August). I only pay for food and the hotel, a cheap hotel (we are not sharing room arr!). He want to sponsor everything as well but I refused because... I may not really love her like how she loves me but of course I want to show her that I am a man too!

p/s: This post have nothing to do with my wedding preparation. It's just a random vacation, OK?

Great Events of 2008

1. Beijing Olympic
This is not the first time for an Asian nation hosted the Olympic games. Japan has done it some f decades earlier (in 1964), and in fact Japan is now ready to host the same sporting event once more. However, there is some mysterious feeling about Beijing Olympic that it feels so exotic compared to all previous hosts, and it is not because of the fact that China is a communist nation.

2. USA Presidential Election
Barack Obama has inscribed the history as US 44th president, as well as the US first black man president. Anyway, that is not the big story. The real drama is that the 2008 Presidential Election is all about being the first. The game starts when Obama compete head to head with Hilary Clinton to succeed as the candidate to represent the Democratic Party. This means, if either one of them succeeded the position, they will become the first in their own nature. Literally, Hilary Clinton will be the US first female prersident should she were reprenting the Democratic and win the election.

A Piece of Mind (End-of-2008 ver.)

1. I just can't understand why some people would go to the extent of performing permanent body modification (or body alteration) in the name of beauty? I mean by undergoing the painful procedure of 'tattooing' and body piercing, as if they are of primitive human.

2. Mathematics is a game of which you are playing with numbers. Just like a real game, once you solved a mathematical problem, you will move to the next level of difficulty.

3. Even at the current peak of human civilization, it is quite unbelievable and non understandable that there are human who still live a primitive tribal life. What do they think upon their first contact with civilized human, or rather do ever think a thing about it? Even some ancient barbaric races are better than them.

4. The worst wrongdoing I've ever committed was being at the wrong place at the wrong place at the wrong time with the wrong person, doing something that is supposed to be right if it was done in the totally opposite situation.

5. I like to dance but not the sissy dance, I mean the dance that makes man looks like sissy.

Three Things I don't Understand About The Modern Japanese

1. They want to do whatever the Americans do, they what to have whatever the Americans have, they even want to look like American, but they can't speak English!

2. As usual, the Japanese always improvise or taking advantage on existing technologies. The Americans invented cars, the Japanese then make them better. The Americans invented computers, then they turn them into gaming consoles. The Americans 'invented' modern porn, the Japanese take them to next step further by introducing never-been-heard-before new porn genres. Creative or stupid?

3. The Japanese are not Christians but they do celebrate Christmas?

The Naked History

The fact that somebody is attracted and curious of this title proves that human has always been interested in nakedness or nudity. Although the attraction towards it may be normal, it can be right or wrong. This can be seen in the so called nudity art, with its influences can be traced back in thousands of years of human history. Ever since the Renaissance era, we can see nudity in many European paintings and sculptures. In almost heretical act, they even depicted sacred biblical figures like Adam and Eve in nude as well! European on that time was like, obsessed with nudity, not just their artists but almost everyone.

In Roman civilization, we can see their nude sculpted figures, murals and frescos. Historians know the Ancient Roman was indeed a sexist civilization. They even have the oldest known form of pornography, where male and female performer made love as some sort of live show on the stage of amphitheatres throughout many cities in the vast empire. For them, it was just another form of visual amusement other than the gladiatorial fights and public criminal executions.

Although both male and female figures were portrayed in nude in visual artworks, it is the female that is the most significant subject. It is clearly a sign of exploitation of female physical proportion. Nudity paintings and sculpted figures on that time were like a genital-concealed ‘Playboy’ or ‘Penthouse’ to the people in the past, since they have no video devices and internet like us today.

Why the women on that time did not say or do something to stop it anyway? In those times, artisans or artists were living in their own class in the community. There are times where what they are saying were deemed right. Not many people are willing to defy them because in the pre-electronic age, they are one of a few sources of entertainment. Therefore, if they say it is acceptable to be nude in the name of art, then people will definitely accept it without much argument.

Again, what would the women on that time have to say on it?With their rights are still constrained by the community, they say virtually nothing. Some might argue, if nudity really have the power to lead to sexual crime, why were there not many of it occured, despite the public were openly exposed to nudity in art? There are many answers to this. First, the women on that time were wearing full clothes in contrast to today’s females, thus reducing the propability of triggering bad thoughts among men. Besides, polygamy was not restricted and having concubines are normal especially to the wealthy like the landlords and noblemen. Furthermore, prostitution was more-less ‘legal’ or at least have ‘easier access’ compared to today, giving the men an ‘alternative’ instead of committing sex crime, as long as they have some extra cash to spend on it.

Nobody would offend them, afterall, almost everybody do the same thing to, and nobody would want to stop or would bother to stop it. That’s the difference between us and them. Therefore, if any people today say it is fine to have nudity in art, it is like they are still having a mind of ancient or medieval class.

The Melancholy of Mobile Gaming (code: Java Games)

Mobile phone games out there is a mess. There are plenty of them in the form of ‘Micro Edition‘ Java applications (often named J2ME). However, hardly any of them really stand out among each other. The reason to this must be they do not have much to offer other than the old boring level achieving missions as if all of them are puzzle games like Tetris, which is not much different from their 80’s legacies. Often, they are found not supporting gamestats saving. Is the so called sophisticated Java programming language too ‘primitive’ that it is incapable to allow gamers to save their gamestats in the middle of their hours of tiresome gaming ‘missions’ (sessions)?

Graphics wise, although we cannot expect much from the maximum QVGA screen size, the games should not have been those vertical-scroller like theSpace Invader or side-scroller like the Super Mario anymore. Why must we repeat the same thing of the past when we can do much better today? What a waste of advanced electronic mobile technologies of the present!

Multimedia and 3D acceleration maybe not great on mobile devices than that of some dedicated portable gaming machines like Nintendo DS orSony PSP but many Symbian powered phones and PDAs today (such as many Nokia products) have become much better in that terms, compared to the models of the past years, thanks to the more processing power from the more powerful new chips. Therefore, why not utilize those capabilities to its fullest instead of producing the oldschool style gaming over and over again?

Everybody knows it is hard to make even a small mobile game but at least make it in isometric or orthographic perspective (much less like bird’s eye view) like the old Diablo II if not in 3D, and do not bother to make a game if you are not willing to go through the difficulties.

Some might ask, "Why bother to emphasize too much on mobile gaming when what matters is the phone functions?". The answer to this question is another question, "Why bother to have separate phone and gaming tools when you can have both function in a single device?". The key here is being mobile, which means carrying less burden, or in other words, having less stuff on the move. That is also the same reason why we have media player in our phone. The sales record of Sony Ericsson’s Walkman andCybershot trademarked phones proves the urge for all-in-one multimedia capable ‘toys’. Besides, carrying more gadgets and gears on the go kills the meaning of being mobile itself. Therefore, if you are thinking of getting serious on mobility, you should concern on everything about it, including the aspect of mobile gaming. It should never be taken for granted, and yes, this is a view from a gamer to a gamer, not from a programmer to a programmer. Bear in mind there is a huge gap in between so do not generalize them. A gamer is not always a programmer, and so do programmer is not always a gamer, but it does not mean they cannot work together to create some great games.

In Japan, they already have Final Fantasy franchise mobile spin-offs (and perhaps mobile visual novel and eroge as well?) Envy? Anyway, happy (mobile) gaming to you avid mobile gamers out there.

I like programming but... (2nd edition)

(This is a recycled article with some minor editing)

Why programming is hard for me? I think there are at least 4 major factors that 'contribute' to the difficulties. They are:

1. I don't know all available commands or instructions for computer. OK, nobody knows all of the available commands and instructions but I know almost nothing about them.

2. I don't know what commands instructions are understandable by computer. It seems like not everything that I know are understandable by computer, especially when I only know some C while the computer can only understands (compile) Java.

3. I don't know how computer interprets commands & instructions. Yes, I can give them any commands and instructions I know but how would they interpret them?

4. I don't know the behavior of certain commands & instructions. How can I give commands and instructions to the computer if I don't know which commands or instructions do which things?

There, not to mention the logic, math and syntax structures for programming languages. I wonder if I still can start learning programing (again) at my 25 years old of age.

Public Opinion Manipulation by BN

Towards Equal Politics

BN (Barisan Nasional / National Frontiers) are using the media to manipulate public opinion. Can we say such thing as a fair political rivalry? Can we say that a healthy political environment? Definitely not.

Not only public opinion, they are also manipulating the media itself to always reside with them, regardless they are right or wrong. That is what we call biased media. Although lately they are seemingly have given the same opportunity to the oppositions, the actual thing is, it is still too small to be considered as fair and still very much unnoticeable.

Their intention is only to look good in the eyes of the public although in fact, what they are doing is to conceal their control on media and to forcibly suppress the rise of the oppositions and the wake of alternative movements. It is the sign that BN is scared of their own shadows, marking that their prosperous golden age in reign is running out of time. For (Malaysian) people out there, this is the right time to opt for a change.

"If you are afraid of truth an revolution, never talk about politics and progress"

This kind of situation somehow reminds me of Richard Nixon during his ascendancy.

Anime Supremacy

Why anime is superior to any other commercial animation in the world? The answer lies in the anime itself, regardless its origin.

It's origin? Isn't anime means Japanese animation, used to be known as Japanimation? Wrong. Anime may be Japan-centric but it is produced anywhere in the world, including the nation outside Japan.

Since its earlier days, anime has always been so associated with Japan. Not a surprise since many of the staff involved, as well as the creator/director are Japanese. however, Production take places in many part on the globe. For example, South Korea animation studios have many ties with many anime production. Not to mention US animation studios that have indeed produced some big titles like Cowboy Bebop and the likes.

Anime doesn't have to be produced in Japan. As long as it retains the anime notable characteristics such as the big beautiful eyes and the likes, it is safe to be called anime.

Now, return to the question, why anime is superior? I have many answers for that. Using comparison method, I can find many reason why anime is superior. First, the character visual attraction. Have any of you ever compare which one is more attractive? For example, try compare between Haruhi Suzumiya and Kim Possible. Still can't get my drift? Anime has the 'turn-on' factor that may not only attract audience, but may also turn loyal fan into otaku.

The term otaku and otakuism may be new to many Westerners and non-Japanese people. Otakuism is like, fanboyism, but in different way. How much different? Both otaku & fanboy will pissed-off if people mock their interest. However, in western culture, fanboys usually will try to install their ideology in other people's head. Otaku, on the other hand only care for their own interest without forcing their ideology to other people. Otaku mainly exist for anime, and this explains that anime is made to have the 'real' feel. Too real compared to western animation. In other words, the existence of otaku prove that anime is way better.

Anime comes in many genre, from kiddy anime to serious-themed and even hentai. I don't have to explain what is hentai here. If you are reading this then you are using internet and you are supposed to know where to find the definition. In my 25 years of life, I think it is safe to say 99.99% of western animation is for kids. Of course it is impossible to have an animation made by-kids-for-kids. Western animation are made by-grownups-for-kids while anime is made by-grownups-for-grownups. That is why anime has so many genre, as its live-action counterpart. True, there are certain anime targeted towards kids but their existence does not overwhelm the serious genre. Besides, serious anime is more popular among general audience.

What makes anime looks so attractive anyway? Other than the good plot & storyline, I must say anime is also visually and graphically superior. The 2D paintjob, although look simple, are done seriously, passionately. The character look alive, as if they have their own life. The animating technique may be different to that of traditional western style which always emphasize on movement, still, anime managed to grab more adult & mature audience. The minimal movement imposed by limited usage of celframe fools the eyes of the audience, creating some sort of illusion that the characters are moving. This is the magic of anime.

In recent years, many anime creators have been experimenting by fusing 3D animation into the traditional 2D works. This can be seen in the serious mecha genre like the Gundam series, something western animation is lacking. Transformers? lol! The anime version of Transformers were done much better than those currently aired in Nickelodeon & Cartoon Network. The only American mecha anime that can sit on par with the Japanese made animation is Robotech.

Still blur of what anime is? Google & wikipedia is just around the corner.

Anime is always the best visual entertainment for me. Fine, I may not knowing what I amtalkin g about, but does that matter?

Just like music, I am also very strict when it comes to anime. That's why Narutah or Bleech never managed to enter my playlist. I may be still up to date with anime but usually it may take months before I decide to buy any title because I need to hear/read reviews from other fans first. Sometimes I might have to wait until the entire series ended in order to get complete review. Anyway, I don't really mind with spoilers so it is not much a problem for me to read reviews with spoilers.

Sometimes I wish I could play some MMORPGs but due to 'badwidth' (bad bandwidth), I haven't really play any until now, although occasionally some of my gamer friends might ask me for in-game helps (I am an avid offline gamer afterall). I will definitely play some free-2-play online games in the future (doesn't necessarily MMORPG, any genre will do), until I get enough pay for a good PC and good bandwidth subscription, or at least until I move to some area with free public wi-fi access (which is available in some residential area at my place here). I see some promising titles in prospect like Second Life, Guild Wars and Ragnarok Online.

If it's about pay-2-paly titles, I think it would be the commercial version of Ragnarok Online and Lineage. I don't prefer DotA and Everquest because they are just 'overkill' for me, with those over-designed visual stuff like the characters+costumes, monsters & environment. For me, things don't have to be overdesigned like that to look attractive. Just take a look at Ragnarok Online. The characters are simple but cute (moe) & attractive, and so do the monsters (I mean the simplistic side).

Honestly, in my eyes, many western-made titles are overkill/overdesigned, and that would include DotA as well. For online game I prefer slow-n-steady paced game, not the fast paced one. I prefer Korean & Japanese titles though. Do you know that even games have some sort of ideology? Western games like World of Warcraft are 'governed' by individualism while eastern games like Lineage are emphasizing more on community & socializing. You may not realize this until you play a lot of both titles. Although I never really play any of them, I do conducted some sort or detailed research and gather statistics from them. That's why I am able to come up with such idea.

Hey, you know what? I've read somewhere about a new 3D social environment by Google. It's not really a game but its 3D environment with 3D avatar looks cool for me. Its Lively

http://lively.com/

It's somehow still in beta, I think.

When she was 11...

Here are the earlier version of Saaya Irie, when she was 11. It was the time when she first become an idol. No need for me to explain much. See for yourself why she became an immediate hit worldwide.

When Science and Supernatural Collide

(This article is written in tandem with this posting).

Just like the linked-to article above, I personally think science and supernatural matters are incompatible. Although many people who believe in supernaturals, particularly cults members, think that supernaturals can be proven by science, none of the conducted experiments for that purpose are really recognized by the mass scientists.

It is nothing wrong to scientifically prove it but to relate science with supernaturals without solid supporting ground is so not professional, as if the scientific research is to be used only for making the supernaturals look normal and acceptable by mainstream science. Occult fans should really stop from making invalid or unproven links to bridge science and supernaturals. I've once watched a documentary where a group of the so-called professional ghost seeker were using scientific tools to looks for ghosts at haunted sites. This is really funny, especially when they made weak claims such as the presence of haunting spirits and ghosts have detectable physical effects on devices like magnetometer. I wonder on what scientific basis they do made such claim? This is truly false and for me, seems to be mala fide, or having bad intentions to make make the public confused, which such confusion will eventually become acceptance.

Lolicon's Treat for Lolicons

Another Saaya treat for you. Enjoy.

Possible Ancient Encounters?

I just found out the possibilities of the ancient Roman and Malay contacts many hundreds of years ago. One of the most notable possible feature that may have been adopted from Latin language can be found in Malay language itself. It is the Malay word "jenis" which means 'type' or 'kind'. This word have been existed for more than a thousand years, which is traceable in ancient Malay language back to the 5th century AD. The word on that time may have been derived from the Latin word "genus" which also carries the same meaning.

My Lolicon Life

Ah! It has been a while since I last following the updates of Saaya Irie. Nah! It's just a few weeks actually. Saaya Irie, a 14-year old Japanese idol. You think the '14' is typo error? No, there's nothing wrong with the number and your eyes. It really reads '14'. With her F-cup sized bra, it must be hard to believe right? Especially considering that she is an Asian girl. While having big breast may be normal among underage females in the western world, such 'phenomenon' is considerably very-very rare in Asian countries like Japan. What? You think I am a lolicon? Ouch! (I don't admit it but I don't deny it).

Here, the Saaya girl for you lolicons out there. Enjoy the view while you still can.

Dirty Heroes

The latest installation of James Bond movie series is around the corner. Officially, this is the 22nd movie (not including the unofficial "Black" James Bond in the 90's, starring by Eddie Murphy).

I've watched some of the titles, particularly those that featuring Sean Connery and Pierce Brosnan. The last James Bond movie I watch is The World Is Not Enough.

Some people asked me why do I give up to watch the latter James Bond titles after that? My reason is, I'm sick of the dirty hero image depicted in the movie (all James Bond movies are featuring dirty heroes!). The term 'dirty' here means the main character (James Bond of course) is immoral because of 3 reasons:

1. He commit pre-marital sex,
2. which means he is not a virgin anymore, and
3. refer to both reasons above.

What had happened to Hollywood@USA? Is it too hard to attract audience to the extent that they have to use such indecent element? Not only James Bond, nudity also appears in many other American movies. They though nudity is art?

lol! It is not as simple as "nudity=art". It is those st00p33d people who include nudity in art, or categorize it as art. Art is something holy and sacred but too bad many so-called artists are confused between art and seduction. Since visual art is mainly dominated by western culture, today's people have a hard time to enjoy art in its purest state. I think we need a revolution to clean up the mess caused by these st00p33d people.

A Piece of Mind (Part II)

A Dozen of (Serious) Thoughts

1.
ASTRO Supersport: "The best seat is in your house."
Audience: "BUT THE BEST SHOT IS IN THE VENUE ARENA ITSELF!!!"

2.
Addiction is a sign of fragile or fragmented mind. Addiction of cigarette is not the same as the addiction of caffeine (coffee). Of course, both, if 'over consumed', will damage the health, but, unlike coffee which brings no damage if consumed adequately, cigarette is already damaging even at very small amount of consumption. That is why I hate cigarette very much although I was a heavy smoker myself. Furthermore, addiction only temporarily caters for stress and depression but not the physiological needs.

3.
The ancient Chinese claimed that any nations outside their empire are barbarian, but in fact, they were also practicing barbaric things like torturing criminals and prisoners, executing inhumane penalties, castrating male palace workers, human slavery and conscription, and not to mention having concubines.

4.
If human were really evolved from some animal, they would have been existed for million of years, but were they? The oldest traces of the existence of modern human (homo sapiens) are 'only' around 200,000 years old (not even reach 1/2 a million mark), which is considered as 'still very young' in the terms of evolution. For that 'very short' period, human seems to be 'suddenly appeared' from nothingness.

5.
Joking is fun, but one should know where to start and where to stop.

6.
Since the Industrialization Era, modern human have been living a 'toxic' life. So what now? Materials can be recycled, but not us. Recycle now.

7.
Communism is a symbol of oppression, conscription, despotism and dictatorship. Its people (members) are denied of their individual rights over thing they personally worked on as all of their works and contributions are considered belongs to the community as a collective. Their people can only serve the community with their services are not accrediting to the contributors. This is truly a violation against human rights.

8.
Islam is not a religion of mere ritual and spiritual only, it is a civilization and a lifestyle, a religion of both spiritual and physical practices. If one seek truth and calmness, he may find it in any religion, but if he seek God and perfection, he will and can only find it in Islam, together with truth and calmness that he may find in other religion. That is one of many things that makes Islam distinctively different and unique among all existing religion in this world. Although Islam acknowledge other religions, it rejects pluralism. It may be accepted that all of us are worshiping the same God but a person become a Muslim by believing in its truth and denouncing other religions. Islam approve the freedom of faith but once a person embrace Islam, there is no turning back. Islam is not a religion for an individual, it is a religion of a community. To the Muslim, religion does not exist only for ritual and spiritual, it is also supposedly exist for judgment, exist to serve the justice.

9.
Other than the Arabs, there are 3 other race that are so associated with Islam, namely Persian, Turks and Malay. This association is so close to the extent that as if Islam has become their native religion, or should I say, as if Islam was originated within their race.

10.
The Registry is Window's sweetest dream, but it also its worst nightmare. It may have solved many problems, but many other problems also arise because of it.

11.
Ancient Malay historian may have been unable to distinguish between myth and reality. This is very much unprofessional. No thanks to them, now their descendants have a hard time to extract important historical facts from the stupid myths.

12.
After the formation of Malaysia, BN's success all this time is entirely relies on political tradition, where BN has created a tradition for people to keep voting them in each election.

Recent Events in the Holy Land fulfill Bible prophecy? Really?

This is an article quoted from http://www.ellisskolfield.com/

"It can now be shown conclusively that Daniel, a prophet in the Hebrew Scriptures, prophesied the coming of Islam 1200 years before Muhammad was born. Those same scriptures prophesied the crucifixion of Messiah over 500 years before Jesus was born. John, another Bible prophet, foresaw the new nation of Israel 1800 years before it was established. John then prophesied that Jerusalem would be freed of Islamic control by 1967.

All these events were foreseen right to the year, putting to rest the Islamic claim that Jewish and Christian Scriptures were corrupted. Many Moslems also believe the number 666 points to the Koran and its prophet. The coming of a man identified with that number, and its dire significance, was prophesied in the Bible over 600 years before the Koran was written.

Thousands of years old, these Bible prophecies were fulfilled exactly as predicted. They impact our spiritual lives regardless of our religious preference. Clear and easy to read, The False Prophet, by our author Ellis Skolfield, is not a book against Jews or Moslems or anyone else. It is a book about prophetic truth. The God of Heaven is truth, and how well we serve Him is not determined by how cleverly we can defend our traditions, but on how willing we are to seek out and follow the truth.
"

Now, my question is, seriously, how true is the so-called 'prophetic truth'? As far as I know, the Christians had always deny that the coming of Muhammad was stated in the Bible, so what happen now with this prophecy? From the article, it appears that the verse that lead to such prophecy has always been there (in Bible) so does this means Bible has been misinterpreted all this time?

No, I'm not against any Christians, so please forgive me if my words sounds offensive or disturbing. I'm just seeking the 'real truth'.

Islam and Modern Philosophy

When we are born into this world as human, we must first deny all other existences except our own. Only after we can acknowledge our existence, then we may start acknowledging other existences one after another, based on solid evidences, evidence that can be accepted by both science and mind. After that, our main goal would be seeking for the origin of all kind of existences, God. We are sharing one existence with everything, an existence of where everything is coming from, while the existence itself takes many forms that may shift shapes in order to remain exist. What makes Islam distinctive from all other religion is, it is a religion that leads to a civilization, not vice versa. This lead to some kind of understanding, where among Muslim is a proof of the true religion, while among non-Muslim is speculated as the possibility of truth.

Edward Sullivan wrote, "Muslim civilization was the product of Muslim religion". Islam can be considered as 'ideological religion', where the source of the religion comes in the form of Koran and His messenger, complete with etiquette, direct from God. In many ancient civilizations, most of them were dominated by religion, with the exception of Graeco-Roman & Hellenistic cultured civilizations, which was at least until the arrival of Christianity.

J-Rox (2nd Edition)

(This is a recycled article with some minor editing)

Some people are wondering why I listen to mostly Japanese songs most of the time? To be honest, it’s not that I am a real J-Rock fan. It’s just that most Japanese songs happen to sound like a music to my ears because for me, music must be something that entertaining and amusing, not just for happy-fun purpose like what imposed by 99.99% of englische songs. Besides, most englische songs are only love-themed which makes me sick all this time. No, it’s not that I hate love, but repeatedly listening to the word ‘love’ over and over again is too annoying. Love is not the only most beautiful thing in the universe y’know? There are many other beautiful things that can be considered and turn them into a song.

Now, how do I manage my playlist? I am extremely strict when it comes to selecting songs. It’s not that I listen to any/all available Japanese songs out there. First, I only listen to anime and games OST because for me, being and OST, those songs are like, the best or ‘the chosen one’. I only listen to OSTs of anime/games that I like. Therefore, even if the anime/games that I hate (like Narutah) have some good theme songs, I won't allow myself to get them. Then, from those songs, I will choose those that sounds more ‘rock’ than pop. Normally, pop songs are discarded at this stage.

Other than rock-themed OSTs, I also 'heavily' listen to classical(orchestra) or Celtic themed OSTs like those composed by Kou Ootani (Haibane Renmei/Ailes Grise), Yuki Kajiura (Xenosaga - my favorite games), Kousuke Yamashita (Xenosaga The Animation) as well as Nobuo Uematsu. Uematsu's works are great to certain extent and I have both of his band's album (The Black Mages I & II). The Black Mages are compilation of Final Fantasy theme musics, presented in vintage rock style version. If you like 'Deep Purple'-ish classic rock music, I'm pretty sure you'll like this. My only comment is they rely too much on synthesizer that reduced some of the 'rock-factor'. I hope if they ever manage to release the 3rd album, they will refrain from using it.

Next, I will search for the available englische translation for the lyrics to give me the rough idea of what's those songs are about. Frequently, love-themed songs will be discarded at this stage. Only remaining songs that passed all this filtering process will manage to enter my playlist. Strict ain’t it?

* People need to be judged because people do commit mistakes. If we are not allowed to judge other people, then who would stay right and true until the end?

* Not everything that entertains and amuses us is art.

* My satisfaction is to see what I've been fighting for is properly implemented.

Islam (Part III)

To say Islam is an evolved version of Arabian paganism is very wrong. How can we say a religion that suddenly arose in an uncivilized ancient Arab community is an evolution? We know evolution is a very slow process, therefore, Islam is a revolution or reformation, or rather 'restoration' of true monotheism, a teaching that has been taught by previous prophets long before Muhammad was born. Those prophets are including Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses and Jesus, as well as many other prophets. This makes Islam the oldest and the only true God's revelation to humanity, also the proof that Islam is not evolved or founded human or Muhammad or his forefathers. Only Islam offers the true monotheism, where the deity (Allah) is capable of doing everything without any impossibilities or flaws or drawbacks (omnipotent), and not appear in multiple entities or persons (absolute singularity). Now, with those points, do you still saying that Islam is an evolved paganism or founded by human being? You are pathetic and misguided if you think so.

Nationalism And Malaysian National Day

Since the Malayan Federation gained independence from British Empire in1957, August 31st has become Malaysia’s National Day. It is the day where we can see many Malaysians fly the Malaysian Flag (Jalur Gemilang) almost everywhere, to show their patriotic spirit towards the country. Yes, today we call it patriotism, but this ‘patriotism’ is an evolved version of nationalism.

So what is this ‘nationalism? For me, it is some sort of a selfish and racist spirit to form a defended-localized and bordered territory. The question is, do such ’spirit’ necessary to fight for independence? Like what Malaysian forefathers did in the 40’s and 50’s? Nationalism may sounds good because it is believed to provide the nation with independence, but what’s the point if because of such thing, racial identity will be sacrificed?

Denying the racial identity for the sake of the so-called national unity is like defying the God’s will. God created human in various race and ethnicity because He wanted it to be that way. He wanted us to accept the fact that we are different in certain areas. Through the differences, He is testing us whether we can acknowledge each other or not.

Sexual Attraction and Homosexuality

Sexually attractive does not always mean the temptation towards having sex. It may also means the attraction towards the person of opposite gender. Therefore, there is no sexual attraction in homosexuality. People become gay because of their own misguided will, and as usual, gays will use their misguided will to rationalize their immoral action (homosexuality). Most of the time, they will say "people should not judge each other", as if they are trying to say there should be no judgment between people. That sounds so unjust, isn't it?

People need judgment or there will be no justice. People need to be judged by others because not everybody can accept anybody, just like how the gays can't accept that homosexuality is morally wrong. Still can't properly think how on earth being gay can be wrong? I wish I could explain more here but maybe later in my next article. Even kids know homosexuality is a fruitless sexual relationship, so if kids with their purity and unbounded mind can think like that, don't we feel ashamed as an adult? What I can see is, gays can only rationalize homosexuality, but they are completely failed to explain that it is a right thing to do.

Congratulations to Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim!

Congratulations to Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, the advisor of PKR (People's Justice Party) for winning the parliamentary seat of Permatang Pauh, under the PKR label, with a very big majority. Hope he will be able to bring reformation (reformasi) and refreshment towards Malaysian politics and democratic practices. By the way, the government, which is under the reign of BN (National Frontiers) keep telling the people not to use religion for political purpose. Does that mean do not use politic for religious purpose? lol! I know they are referring to PAS (Malaysia Islamic Party) whom the government have always accused them as "using Islam for their own political ambition". What the...? The religion itself (Islam) is already a form of politic so it is wrong to say that religion and politic can never get along. Why did I say so? Because both are about spreading words and influence, as well as gathering followers. The only difference is, religious followers are called believers while political followers are usually called supporters.

2 Months As GForum Moderator

Finally, my final week as a moderator of GForum has come. I am expecting a demotion by today but so far, it seems like nobody realize about it or they might have forgotten about it. I think I'm going to submit my resign request soon.

I'm also not going to set up a poll in the micronation thread since most people who have replied there are only over reacting towards it, or should I say getting mad on something they shouldn't have to. Yes, why must we get angry on something that cause no harm on us? Hmm. Unless more people are able to think about it, I might change my mind.

A great disaster happened to my forum after the upgrading process completed yesterday. The backup file does not work as it should. For some unknown reason, it has corrupted beyond repair. I have no choice but to restore the backup data of a few months ago, which means any registrants who registered after the date of backup data have to re-register again. This also means the bugsters in the previous data is now appeared again, and i have to work on this matter as well. *sigh*

Islam (2nd Edition)

Observing the current international affair these days, I have to say more and more non-Muslims are misinformed about Islam every single day. Not to really blame them though since most them still think vice-versa that Islam is Muslim and Muslim is Islam. They are not only misinformed, they are also misunderstood of it, especially when they see more Muslim terrorist on media, although those Muslim terrorist are just a very small portion of all terrorist around the world. Some might ask, why we see more Muslim terrorist then, compared to 'non-Muslim terrorist'? I must say it is the fault of the mass media. We have seen much fraud from mass media so why must we have to entirely trust it, right?

To my non-Muslim friends out there, here is my explanation of Islam. Islam is not a religion of mere ritual and spiritual only, but it is a complete civilization. Since Islam is, unlike any other religion, it is the most complete way of life to any Muslim, any attempt to change the way of life of a Muslim is actually considered as an attempt to interfere with their religious issue, or in other words, an attempt to alter their religion, which is a taboo in Islam itself. Therefore, non-Muslim should never question Muslim's religious way of life.

Islam is not just about the Koran and hadith only. It is a system that includes the whole way of life. Not even a single element of life is not covered by a true Islamic system. It covers everything from the moment we wake up until the next time we awake. This makes Islam different from the rest of other existing religion, not even the other Abrahamic religions like Judaism and Christianity.

I remember some time ago when some artists caused a stir in the Muslim world by drawing images to have said depicting Prophet Muhammad. For me, this is a really bad move, even if it is for historical purposes. The problem is, do the world need the image of him, when the Muslim themselves never bother to draw it? That is why the action is considered as an insult and disrespectful. Of course, Islam forbids its believer to draw the picture of Prophet Muhammad so we can say this restriction is valid to Muslims only. True, but only to certain extent. Say Islam forbids Muslims from stepping on the Koran, so does that means non Muslims can step on the Koran? This is not about the so-called restrictions, this is about respect. It does not matter whether you are believer or not, do not ever show disrespectful towards any religions or beliefs. Even if you are non believer or non-Muslim, what would you feel if somebody openly depicts atheism or any other religion as something that may annoy or disturb you? If you'd feel offended, congratulations because then you knew how the Muslims feel when people do such thing to them. If you feel nothing, I must say you are admitting that you don't believe in restrictions and you are thinking that this 'respect' thingy is a crap. And why must the non Muslims bother to draw the image of Prophet Muhammad in the first place, even for Christ's sake? The Muslims don't even bother to draw Jesus's image when learning history because we know it is pretty unnecessary. It's not that we are going to meet him (Prophet Muhammad) anywhere in the near future (at least in this life) so it is clearly pointless to have his graphical depictions openly displayed, even in the internet.

"I thought you're a Christian, aren't you?" you asked me? No, I am a born Muslim, always have, always will, and always be. Some of you may have thought that I am a Christian because of my 'seemingly religious' statements about Christianity all this time. Well, you may keep thinking like that if you want, but please think of me as a Christian who believe the prophethood of Christ, a Christian who believe that Christ was not crucified, a Christian who believe that Christ was ascended by God to heaven alive, a Christian who believe that Christ acknowledged the prophethood of Prophet Muhammad, a Christian who believe Christ taught the Bible directly to his people, a Christian who believe that Christ is not the son of God. And that makes me a Muslim.

p/s: pardon me if you found any of my words are harsh or sounds insulting to you. I really have no intention to offend anybody.

The Will To Perfection (2nd Edition)

Why there are good, ignorant, and bad people? Why must they exist at the same time? These are unanswered questions that have been in my mind since long time ago. Yes, for me it is possible to have only good people in the world that we may call utopia but too bad, in this real world, the rooms are also available for ignorant and bad people as well.

Before we judge "this people good, that people bad", first, we must determine what is good, what is bad. In any available human language, the structure and mechanism are always about "something come out from something". For example, the good come from the bad, the truth come from the false, the rich come from the poor. In other words, everything seems to have its own origin, and the origin seems likely always come from the opposite nature of the outcome, of which, in this case, we may can't determine the 'good' without the 'bad' as our benchmark.

Good and bad are some of the available moral value. Moral value and social value won't mix because morality is about being right or wrong, while social is about acceptance by a community or a society, which means even if some immoral acts are acceptable to a certain community or society, it does not mean they are right. However, these days, the right (good) and wrong (bad) are always determined socially, not morally.

Since the beginning of humanity, or should I say the so-called morality, which, in many known civilizations and cultures, well or not well defined in 'Moral Codes', human has always rely on the cause-consequence pairing mechanism to perform moral valuation. However, this method always involving observation of hunter-prey relationship, where always, if not every time, the victimized are innocent. In other words, it requires sacrifice. This may also apply on single individual, where in this case, he might have sacrificed himself deliberately or accidentally, which the later is the most common. If he survived the former and learn something, he will regret or else, with enough will, try a different, more effective method, while if he survive the later, he will, also learn something, and willing to use a safer alternative method, of course to prevent accident, though accident is not all about bad things since it is all about getting the unexpected or undesired results. Lets call the 'something learned' in this context as experience.

Experience does not teach us exactly the right thing, but rather teaching us to dodge all wrong things, in hope for the right and desired result. Therefore, it is safe to say that experience is all about accident and despair, directly or indirectly. Now, consider that sacrifice and accident, in both individual or collective community, are unnecessary of avoidable in order to give any value to morality, how are we going to value it, when sacrifice and accident has been our morality benchmarking mechanism all this time?

One way any philosopher may venture is, to create the value itself, from scratch. This may sound extremely easy, even without initial value, since any value to be created itself is to be considered initial, if the valuation is to be conducted randomly, without considering any other factors that may give visible or insignificant effect to the resulting value, if those factor were considered. However, as the valuation process expands, even at the slowest possible rate, things will surely become extremely complicated. At this stage, philosophers who try to do the valuation might act like law-giver, law-creator. Nothing wrong for acting like that, but that is the risky part of moral valuation, even at its very basic stage of assessment.

If, people can really determine what is good and what is bad, we can't sure either whether human will will always directed towards the good only. Human have 'almost' completely free will where they may or may not choose to be either good or bad, or according to the topic, to be ignorant. The problem is with the human will itself. Is there anything we can do on our part? Well, we can at least try to think, beyond the good and evil.

7th Week As GForum Moderator

GForum's current version of democracy: decide first, talk about it later.

Democracy should be "talk first, decide later"! After 7 weeks, what I get from GForum is, to (some of) the people in power, getting along means to obey only whatever the leaders said while suppressing your own will. It is a clear sign of despotism. They try to act like nature where only them can control people while people are not allowed to 'control' them back. They freely label those who disagree with their ways as rebels.

I am not going to offend anybody in specific, that's why I made this post as general as it could.

I don't have any other definitions for democracy except for the classic one, which the power and leadership are determined by the public, but it doesn't mean it is started by the majority. Everything big are came from one single idea from either a person or a small group of people. If you ask me, my preferred version of democracy is more of the republic type.

The real purpose of democracy is to please most people most people most of the time, not to please all people all the time, or some people some of the time. However, it does not mean the minority is to be ignored just because they are on the losing side. Both majority and minority must be treated according to their needs at the same time.

You may want to know what is the proper democracy I meant? Here is my simple answer. Whenever there are any decisions to be made of which such decision will affects the whole community, the people in power should openly discussed the matter with the public. At this stage, anybody who are brave enough to voice out their opinion should be allowed to do so. However, debates alone can't solve things because not everybody have the guts to do it, so let those who silent to cast their vote. Since those 'silent' people only dare to vote, their votes must be guaranteed private and confidential. This way, we can ensure nobody is left behind, and if there are, it is not because the failure of the system, but their own failure to get involved in politics.

Olympic comes to China: Why do we need democracy?

Why we need democracy? My simplest answer would be because we are more than two people. A more 'advanced' answer would be because it is less time consuming to make decisions in a democratic way than resorting to debate only. Democracy is the best way to determine superiority by considering all possible candidates and let the public vote. Do we need to feel threatened just because somebody want a democratic system? My answer is no. Well, if you think you are really good as a leader, let your people decide that. Unless you are afraid of losing your power and your control over your people, you should not feel threatened by it. In other words, if you think you are suitable enough to fit in the leadership position, then there is no reason to be afraid. Just let the community decide who should hold the power, and how long the leader should hold the leadership. It is more transparent to choose the leader that way.

The Art of Explanation

Individual style of explanation, a form of communication, for me, is one of the linguistic arts like poems and lyrics. I think everyone must have different style of explanation and different accent to keep one's existence acknowledged or else, s/he may end up imitating someone else, losing oneself (identity). By having unique and distinctive style of explanation, one is actually giving him/herself an opportunity to explore possibilities. For example, when people asking you "Why do you using mobile phone?". Thinking of it and different people may come up with different answers such as:

1. "Dude! I'm just using it for SMS." - Avid SMS-er.
2. "Man, its just for call." - Normal phone user.
3. "I'm using it for listening to music." - Mobile audiophile.
4. "There is no use for me of this thing but I'm having it for fashion." - style fag.
5. "Buddy, I'm using it to be in contact with my parents and my friends round the clock." - contact freak.

See? Now the same facilities used by every person but the point is just to make understand the style of explanation, so the thing is style of explanation matters a lot in the practical.

What's Great About Roman Historical Record

Ancient Roman are indeed very honest people in terms of recording historical events, perhaps because they are very careful when it comes to dealing with the calendar. Even the first day of Roman calendar as well as the day of the foundation of Rome was properly recorded. They know things like Jesus resurrect the dead, cure the blind and give life to clay bird. However, they did not mix history with superstitious/supernatural stuff. That is why the Roman historical records remain as one of the most accurate, accountable and reliable in the world today. Thinking of that, I am quite ashamed with my ancestors. Why? If any of you ever read "Sejarah Melayu" (History of The Malay) written/compiled by Tun Sri Lanang, you'll find many true historical events inside are mixed with legends and myths, rendering it become almost completely pointless or useless to be referred as historical source. Not to mention "Hikayat Hang Tuah" (The Tales of Hang Tuah) that is also 'contaminated' with those folklore stuff. Both are bad. Perhaps the ancient Malay kings that ordered their writers to do so. Who knows?

The Lost Legacies

Why do some of our ancestor's legacies and records lost in history? Because some generations between them and us just don't give a damn to their forefather's history. See how bad the impact if people lost interest in history? Just take a look at the Egyptian Empire. If people were care about history and properly passes their knowledge to the newer generations, we might still be able to build another Great Pyramid today. That's how important it is to learn history. History is not only about learning and knowing the truth of past events, it is also about passing forward everything we know today to the next generations.

The Melancholy of Modern Visual Culture (Code: Anime)

Today's anime always failed to successfully impress me. Most of the time, I see them as mere entertainment with nothing much to say. I know I should not expect too much on them but for a few hundred bucks I paid, of course I am expecting more than just entertainment, perhaps something that have deep impact on me or the community.

Many today's animators resorting to fan service to attract viewers rather than using good plots, as if they are not confident with their own anime works. Serious anime should not rely on fan service to draw viewer's attention, or should not have fan service at all.

It's not that I am against all fan service, but at least look at where to use it. I am fine if it is for happy fun anime but for the serious one, where heavy theme is used, fan service is like a contamination. Some other animator even using gory scenes for the same purpose. Serious anime is supposed to display serious matters in entertainment form, where the target viewers are those who can think outside of the box unlike ordinary people. These people are not 'susceptible' to those 'seduction' so it is pointless to use fan service or gore in serious anime.

6th Week as GForum Moderator

Now that I have taken my move to implement democracy, nothing much happened besides the other fellow moderators greatly opposed my idea. No, they does not oppose my idea, but they were actually doing personal attack against me.

Some people there keep bugging me "who do you mean by 'treating this forum as their own?" I won't answer that directly since I think any person who asked that is mature enough to judge the situation all this time, unless they are just pretending not understanding a thing for butt-kissing's sake. I am fighting for democracy right? So doesn't that mean my choice is private and confidential? What good can it be if I reveal any names then? I am trying my best to avoid personal attack, so that is why I use the phrase 'some people' to represent those culprits. Being general is not personal attack, thank you very much.

My oh my, those who oppose me are, some of them, very immature in dealing with the issue, treating me as their enemy as if what I'm going to do will destroy GForum.

The Will To Perfection (Part 23) : Morality vs Social

Moral value and social value won't mix because moral is about being right or wrong while social is about acceptance by a community or society, which means even if a community or a society accepts a morally wrong acts, they are still being immoral. In other words, just because your actions are accepted by your community or society, it does not mean what you are doing is right, because a community or society itself may subject to right or wrong as an individual person would do as well.

Friendship between guys

I'm not sure if any girls out there really understand the friendship between guys. Once a guy find himself a true friend, even if all girls in this world become his girlfriends can't replace that one friend.

Profiles

Hi! My name is Akmal Rizal Shah Putra Mahayuddin ibni Hariffin Shah Putra Jammalullail, otherwise known as Halfey halphstein, the person who writes the stuff here on Right-o-matic. I'm currently a freelance writer and a brain surgeon whose patient is myself. I previously worked as a guy who disguise myself as myself (?) at some corner in the world and my job was generally being myself, coaching myself and managing myself.

My interest falls under a wide range of 'serious' subjects namely: anime, manga, games, figma, cosplay and many other 'interesting' stuff. You might get the impression that I think I know so much, but please know that my fragile memory can only lasts for a fraction of a second before being overwritten by new wrong information. If I have the ability to store all information inside my head, I would have owned the internet and my name would spell like Akmal Rizal Ph.D. M.D. MSc. Abc. Etc. but the chance is people will have trouble remembering it so I decided to just stick to something simple. Besides, I already have trouble with my long real name so I'm not going to add any new problems to the existing ones.

Just like any (ab)normal person, I also encounter difficulties in life, have many questions about life, the universe and everything. However this blog has nothing to do with my quest for the answer of those stuff. I created this blog so I can have a place that serves as a virtual extension to my mind, to share everything that I know, everything that I think i know, and everything that I don't know at all. Now that people are virtually connected to each other by the internet, I'm sure some of my thoughts will be able to annoy and give trouble to other people and I think THAT would be very much amusing to me.

Thank you for bothering yourself to make a visit here. If you think you can bear all crazy and mad stuff I wrote here, how about subscribing to my blog to receive more weird articles from me? Or perhaps you can add me as another weird friend on the following social network sites:

About

Right-o-matic is a blog about you, me, and that person about self-destruction, the mind twisting, and weird way of life in general. This blog has undergone several transformations since I wrote my first article in 2008 BC. I was seeing a lot of improvement back then in terms of public attention, but I had to leave blogging for a few centuries (because the Romans confiscated all Viking-invented computers, leaving the entire Europe in stupidity Dark Age). Now that I'm back, I'm starting all over again. I know, it is a pain in the ass neck and annoying to me (and you as well), but life should go on and I'll continue disturbing you again and over again.

I wrote a book during my hiatus that was supposed to be published in 2005 but something happened back then (I'm not going to tell you what had exactly happened) thus the book was never published until today.

5th week as GForum moderator

Halfey's Internet Guide Towards GForum Micronation. I have opened that thread as part of my campaign for explaining to GForum registrants about my intention for a change, but as expected, even without the actual effort to make a change, some people there already offended me, as if I have committed an unforgivable crime. Those offensive acts may be expected, but some (or should I say most) of them come from the person I least expected. I have yet to reply in that thread as it is quite interesting to read one by one those message posted after my last one. Deevon's confession helped explaining some of the mysteries. Since he already did that, I think there is no reason for me to hide much. I'll reveal things little by little while keeping some other things as secret because some questions are best left unanswered. How is democracy going to benefit GForum registrants specifically, or the forum itself generally? Well, I see there is no privacy for people's choice there. If they are unhappy with any decisions, they have to openly express it but not so many people there have the guts to do so. In democracy, everybody's voice are respected and their choice are guaranteed confidential, without have to face the wrath from those who disagree, like what I am facing right now.

Whether people will choose to be with me, let the time decide that. I just don't give a damn about people keep bugging me to make a poll. Say, if nobody support me, it does not mean the failure of democracy, but it is the failure of people to understand the benefit of it.

Hmm. GForum's registrants are mostly kids and they made the majority there? Even in Malaysia, majority are kids, but when it comes to political matters, they don't counts. And I wonder how come people don't realize politics do exists in GForum. Like I said in my earlier posts, it does, as long as there are people in power, there are people who control things, and there are people being governed. In other words, if there are leaders with followers, regardless any scale it is, then politics do exists.

Human is a copy of God?

God does not create human to look like Him. It is human who depicts God to look like themselves.

Tuesday, July 22

A month as GForum moderator

First, I want everybody to understand that I have no intention to do the so-called coup d'etat. To be honest, there is no need to. What I want is a reformation of the way we manage the forum and its registrants. I want to put a stop on the act of toying around with this forum as if it is belong to certain individual/party.

Second, I want to tell everybody here that revolution=/=threat as claimed by certain somebody. It is stupid to simply equalize revolution with threat because why do you have to feel threaten just because somebody want a change? Doesn't that sounds like some people want to secure certain position for themselves only? Why i want a change then, you may ask? Because I want to see the way this forum being controlled is determined by a wider registrants base rather than a group of people only.

Third, I want people to stop thinking that the absence of proof is the proof of absence. Remember, politic is a science, where proof need to be found rather than just passively expecting for proof to come to you. The absence of proof doesn't mean that it doesn't exist, because proof may be hidden or buried or wiped out. In our situation, just because there is no people objecting a decision, it doesn't mean that nobody does. This is not about being paranoid, this is about being careful with every single words you spoke, every single decisions you made, to make them worthy & to ensure everybody, regardless they are majority or minority, alone or in group, are treated equally.

Fourth, I hope everybody understand the failure of democracy is not the failure o the system itself, but it is the failure of the way people running it, or the failure of the people who ran it themselves. That means, whenever you see a failure in a democratic system, you should not blame the system, but blame the people who ran it the wrong way. Why we need a real political system here? Because there are people who control & being controlled, and there are people with different power here.

Western Empires vs Chinese Empire (Part 2) : Ancient Inventions

Kite, paper & gunpowder are ancient Chinese inventions, but they are just artistic inventions, unlike the Roman arch which is scientific. What I mean by being scientific is being practical and technical, and requires technician or engineer to have one rather than resorting to an alchemist or shaman or master craftsmen.

The Stupidity of Reality TV Singing Show

Reality TV singing show, regardless what nation hosts it, whether it is US or Malaysia or any other countries, is one of the stupidest thing ever created for TV program, and one of the stupidest thing I've ever seen on TV. The participants are not going anywhere except being popular for a very shot period of time. Even if they managed to achieve some higher level in their career, they are not going too far. They are stars only during the competition but then failed to become legends. Not to really blame the participants though since it is the show itself, which is held annually, that distracts audience from the fame to the next fresher participants. That kind of nature makes people to eventually forget the previous fame and then only focus on the current competition. In other words, the show itself 'kills' the previous winner. Therefore, I can say the previous fame's greatest rival is none other but the newer contestants. That is why I call such show as stupid. Perhaps it is better if the show is to be organized once every 4 years, like the Olympic Games? I mean, to give enough time for the current fame to build solid foundation for their career in order to become a legend in entertainment field.

The Universe (Part 3) : The End of The Universe

Most modern ideas of the end of the world (Apocalypse/Armageddon) only explains the end of humanity (because of human factor/fatal diseases/natural disasters) and/or the destruction of Earth (because of cosmic catastrophe) but failed to explain the end of the entire universe itself. So far, the most scientifically sounding theory of the end of the universe is "The Big Rip", which is the opposite to the theory of the moment of creation a.k.a. "The Big Bang". According to the theory, at certain extent of the expansion of the universe, there will be a point where gravity no longer be able to hold stuff where even atom will be ripped apart and vanished. Sounds logic right? Anyway, it is much better than those like another World War, biological weapon of mass destruction, super volcano or killer asteroid.

The Will To Perfection (Part 22) : The Creation of Facts

All facts are evolved from mere ideas and opinions, after given enough arguments and debates. Without arguments and debates, ideas and opinions are nothing and will not evolve into facts. That is why arguments and debates are crucial wherever or whenever there are ideas and opinions.

The Will To Perfection 21

What's the point of having women to do men's works if it does not give much difference? I mean, isn't it better for them to keep just doing womens works if what they did is the same thing but not better than men?

The Definition of Modern Day Christianity?

What's the point of claiming that you are a Christian if you only believe parts of it but disapproving some other parts?

American Anime? (are crap imitations?)

Americans tried to imitate anime but too bad they always failed since their imitated version of anime are just simply too striking in color (as if they want to attract only kids) and ofttimes the characters failed to blend well into the background. Besides, their available genre is very limited. The only non-kiddie genre they have so far, as far as I know is, teenage theme.

The Ottoman Empire

Although I am a Muslim myself, I won't recognize the Ottoman sultans as Roman Emperor because they don't speak Latin. Latin is compulsory if any nation wanted to be acknowledged as the successor of the Roman Empire.

The difference between western empires and the Chinese Empire is, western empires are of conquered states, while the Chinese Empire is of unified states.

The Will To Perfection 20

There can only be two outcomes in problem assessment, either positive or negative. Neutral should not be considered as an outcome since neutral means there as no problem at all to be assessed from the beginning. However, just because the assessment lead to neutral outcome, it doesn't mean the problem is invalid. Even if one sees something as a problem, that is more than enough to prove that problem exists.

Internet Power, Internet Politics

Internet can be as powerful as books in the past centuries. That's why we can't deny its ability to spread influences. Therefore, it's just normal to see people want to look powerful in the internet.

The Universe (Part 2)

Space does not statically or dynamically related to time. Einstein think it is because he thought space expands with time. The truth is, even if space stops expanding, the time will always keeps running. Thus, I can say the Special/General Theory of Relativity is false.

If space really expands with time, so where time is 'moving forward', then doesn't that mean if the space is contracted, time will be reversed? In fact, time will always keep running 'forward' even if the space is shrinking. Anyway, if time really is related to space no matter what, I believe it has to be mass, which means, either time or space can exist alone without the presence of mass, but if both time and space have to coexist, mass has to be there to relate them.

Speaking of time, space, mass and existence, then the universe must come into the picture. The universe exists; it is. Time wise, the universe is 13.7 billion years old,. How big it is? Well, it must be trillions, if not billions astronomical units. It should be measurable since all that we need is to determine two most distant point in this physical plane and measure the distance between them (of which is estimated at 156 billion light years across).

Now, what's left is the mass. How do we measure the mass of the universe? By measuring the mass of all existing physical objects in the universe? Do we need to measure them? I would say yes. There is still one puzzle yet to be solved. Did the mass of the universe static or is it dynamically increasing as the universe is expanding, which means new materials are still being created from nothingness even after billions of years since the theoretical Big Bang?

Another question to be answered is, do the universe are cooling and darkening? Mysteriously, the temperature of the universe is uniform everywhere, and bright light of combined primordial super forces used to fill the space from all direction, minutes right after the Big Bang. So, we can say the universe must have been very old to be this dark but oppositely, it must be still too young considering the uniformity of its temperature.

The answer might be lying at the center of the universe, of which we are yet to know the exact position. Our only clue about it is, it exist because we know if the universe is expanding, then there must be the center of the expansion. What's clear is, despite the uniformity of the temperature, gravity is not well distributed throughout the universe. The gravity tends to develop stellar seeds for stars, which then give birth to planets and moons, together forming a gigantic entity called galaxy. What a truly amazing the universe is.
