Nothing is free in this world. Therefore, never expect things to be free. For whatever things you get, you really should pay for them. Any kind of payment will do, as long as as it is agreed by both willing payer and willing payee. However, just because you have paid, it does not mean it is over. You are responsible to ensure that the payee is the right or legal party to receive the payment. Else, if the payment is received by the wrong or illegal party and you are fine with it, then you are like you are stealing things. Read: piracy.
