The Other Note

Death Note is one of a few manga I managed to read the whole volumes. The plot taking place around Raito Yagami (Light Yagami?) who found a notebook of which, anybody whose name is written and his/her face pictured in the mind of the notebook user (the writer), will die in exactly 6 minutes and 40 seconds (400 seconds). According to the rules, written in English in the back page of the book, if no cause of death is written with the name, the intended person will die by the cause of heart attack. Later in the story, Raito use the identity 'KIRA' to kill criminals in his mission to 'clean the world from evil'. During this mission, he encountered the world's top-ranked detective, 'L' whose intelligence is comparable with Raito himself.

Into the story itself, the name Raito is actually written in Katakana characters. In Japanese, Katakana is used to write foreign words, which resulting Raito's name always written as 'Light' in English translation. This translation might be wrong because there is one scene in the manga where Raito refuses when Misa Amane wanted to call him 'Light' (in English pronunciation).

End of Death Note, to anybody out there, please take note that if you're anti-Islam, then you're actually anti-monotheism (including Christianity and Judaism itself). And if you're anti-monotheism, you're actually anti-religion! DO NOT hate Islam or I'll write your name in my Death Note and you'll die of natural causes in approximately 60 years!
